Mission ShakthiSAT Sri Lanka

Mission ShakthiSAT is a global initiative by Space Kidz India dedicated to inspiring and empowering young girls in space science, technology, engineering, innovation, and leadership. Bringing together participants from 108 countries, the mission provides hands-on exposure to satellite technology, coding, electronics, STEM education, and leadership development through an all-girls lunar satellite mission.

Sri Lanka proudly joined this historic journey under the leadership of Dr. Sulochana Segera and Women in Management, in collaboration with Space Kidz India. The initiative was launched to create opportunities for young Sri Lankan girls to explore the future of science, innovation, and space exploration.

As part of the Sri Lankan chapter, 100 girls aged between 14 and 18 will receive valuable training and exposure in STEM, innovation, leadership, and space science. Upon completion of the program, selected participants will earn the opportunity to represent Sri Lanka in India at the official satellite launch and mission events.

To celebrate and support this inspiring initiative, a grand finale conference will be held in Sri Lanka. Ticket purchases for this event will directly contribute towards empowering and educating these young participants, helping them become the next generation of female innovators and future space leaders.
